
I make pictures. Deepest fascinations are the fleeting moment. People and how we inhabit the space around and between us. Animals. Wool gathering. The apparently coincidental (but not – because nothing is.)
As for the name of the blog; eye, contact, consciousness… This has to do with a Buddhist perspective on the shifting nature of reality – all is impermanent. Our suffering comes about from the way we cling to things…in this case, to the way we see things. If we could remember that what we see here today is already changing by the time we press the shutter button, we’d be one step closer to enjoying what’s in front of us and being able to let it go at a moment’s notice.
